Product Information
DOMUS AUTO ALTERNATING PRESSURE REDISTRIBUTION SYSTEM MATTRESS UP TO 250 KG MAXIMUM USER WEIGHT
This top-of-the-line mattress features bottom cells that prevent the patient from bottoming out in case of power failure, as well as five loops located on the side of the mattress that helps manage your cable and avoid a tripping hazard. Plus, you can roll the pump into the mattress and fasten the storage strap for secure and organized mattress storage. And if you ever need to troubleshoot, you'll be able to identify any abnormalities immediately for quick and precise decision making.
Domus Auto is a pressure-relieving mattress that provides extra support in the sacral area, preventing bottoming out. It can be used with continuous low pressure (CLP) or alternating mode, and the cell-on cell design prevents the patient from bottoming out in case of power failure. APEX Heel Relief Function eliminates interface pressure from heels, providing relief for heel pressure injuries.
This innovative design features quick connectors on the last five cells from the foot end, allowing caregivers to easily deflate the cell directly underneath the patient's heel. Plus, with micro low air loss function, Domus Auto provides good ventilation and helps reduce heat and moisture build-up.
This system comes with a standard cover made from high-performance, biocompatible material that is water-resistant and vapours permeable. Additionally, the low friction and shear forces of this material make it ideal for use in a variety of settings. Whether you're looking for relief from muscular pain or simply wanting to improve your overall comfort level, Domus Auto is a perfect choice!

The new Domus replaces “Static” mode with “CLP” mode. What are the differences? What is the reason behind the change?
In Domus Auto, “Static” mode & “CLP” mode are the same. Apex redefined the terms to differentiate
“Static” mode for non-digital pump (Domus 3) from “CLP” mode for digital pump (Domus 4, Domus 4).
“CLP” - Provides patient with a stable static surface with relatively low pressure (2/3 of the chosen
alternating pressure).
“Static” - Provides the patient with a static surface with the same pressure as the chosen alternating pressure.
When is Continuous Low Pressure (CLP) mode used? What are the benefits of CLP compared to Alternating Mode?
When clinically indicated, CLP can be activated for better patient immersion, envelopment and comfort.
