Opera Signature Profiling Bed With Cot Sides is an elegantly-styled care bed designed for user mobility and nursing care. Ideal for users with advanced care needs that want to maintain a homely and inviting care environment.

The Opera® Signature bed is height adjustable, making it suitable for both nursing care and ease of access. The bed's extensive height range allows it to be lowered close to the floor and raised up to a carer's waist level to make it easier to provide care.

The user of the Signature bed can raise the back rest of their bed to sit up in the bed, and elevate their legs and feet by raising the leg rest. Users and care providers can adjust the profiling mattress platform through a simple to operate control handset.

Features:

  • Raises to Waist Level - If you or a loved one has carers, the wide height range simplifies care and lowers back pain. The bed lifts to a waist level of 73.5cm, allowing you to choose the ideal access height.
  • Lowers Down For Safety - The Signature lowers to 24.5cm from the floor, providing a safe sleeping height. It also helps if you or a loved one have difficulty swinging your legs into the bed.
  • Feel Properly Supported - The Signature's backrest adjusts for a variety of pleasant sitting and sleeping positions. Raising the backrest improves posture and makes reading or watching television more pleasant.
  • Reduce Leg Swelling - The elevating leg rest allows you to easily lift your legs and feet. Raising your legs in bed can help with oedema or poor circulation.
  • Size Options - If you like more space, you can select from three different widths. The Signature comes in three sizes: 3ft/ Single, 3ft 6 Wide Single, and 4ft Small Double to fit any room size.
  • Easy to Control - The Signature bed is operated by a wired handset. The device features large soft-press buttons that let users to modify their beds individually. The control also attaches to the side of the bed.
  • Side rails - If safety is a concern for the user, The Signature can be specified with side rails. These provide added safety and help reduce the risk of bed falls. The rails easily drop down when not in use.

What happens to my profiling bed in a power cut?

In the event of a power cut, the signature profiling beds have a 29v battery back-up which has enough power to get the bed back into a flat position.

Can you have a handle or loop at the side of the bed to help get in and out?

If a handle or loop is needed at the side of the bed to assist with getting in and out then we can supply the bed with a grab rail which can fit on either side of the bed in the desired position.

What happens if my profiling bed stops working?

In the event of your electric bed breaking down, You can contact us and we will assist you.

Is this bed available in a double width?

The Signature Profiling is not available in a double width. The reason for this is if the user requires on bed nursing by carers outside of the bed, this width would put a strain on the carers backs having to reach over.

Does this bed come with side rails?
